The ‘Chapel’ provides a comfortable and reliable monitoring environment for both stereo and surround mixing, and the addition of natural light results in a fatigue-free experience.

Primary monitoring consists of active ATC SCM100s for LCR, SCM20s for surround, and an ATC 15” subwoofer for LFE, all controlled by a Grace m906 controller.

The same mobile Pyramix system used for recording is augmented for mixing by a Smart Tango controller, which gives direct touch sensitive control of channel selection and mixing parameters, and a TC6000 for effects.

The Studer D21m, which provides analogue interface for recording, is used here to provide inserts for outboard processing. This gives access to analogue colouration which may not have been available during recording.
